Beauty Inventory | Moisturizers 2019

This category covers cream, gel, and oil / oil-based moisturizers.

2019 moisturizer count is 5 — two (2) if we exclude the ones I only use for the body. There’s a separate category for body lotions, but I already took photos for this post so here we are 😅.

Moisturizer Inventory 2019

Lixirskin Universal Emulsion

I love this moisturizer because I can use it everywhere, even on the perimeter of my eyes and on the lips. It’s cream-type but somewhat runny. It moisturizes my skin well, but note I’m oily. I’m almost done with the tube and I will review it in more detail soon.

Aura Cacia Castor Oil

I only use this on the corn in the area near my Achilles tendon. I don’t know if it’ll work (I also have not been applying it consistently 😬).

COSRX Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream

I bought this to replace Lixirskin Universal Emulsion, but I found out that COSRX Balancium can’t be used near the eyes.

I decided to use Lixirskin as my eye cream and COSRX to moisturize the rest of my face. I don’t have much to say about it yet.

Nature’s Gate Vitamin E Oil

I have Vitamin D deficiency and when I wake up early (not often), I try to spend time exposing my back to the sun. I use Vitamin E oil after to soothe my skin.

Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate

I bought this in December 2016. I know I should be throwing it away but it doesn’t smell rancid and it doesn’t seem to have changed in texture and consistency.

I wish I could write something useful about it but I wasn’t able to use it consistently enough. It served mostly as a diluter for my Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer Foundation. Nowadays, I use the oil on my hair.

Here are my moisturizers last year (June 2018) —

From 6 face moisturizers, I’m down to 2. Not bad, self.
